KMAC - Database Management System

KMAC is a proprietary information database system designed by TPID to fight counterfeiters in the most efficient and timely fashion. It allows clients to identify and track counterfeiters faster than any other security system available today. KMAC is not designed to stop counterfeiting, but rather provides the most efficient means available to identify the point of sale for contraband items. The system records and tracks specific details pertaining to each product batch including production information, shipping and receiving points, store locations, expiration dates, and more. KMAC provides brand owners with the information they need to take quick, decisive action from both a legal and logistical point of view. In the event of a recall, for example, the KMAC system can track and verify affected items and send instant notification.

TPID’s R&D team continually upgrades KMAC to ensure optimized protection against counterfeit goods and provide true cradle-to-grave tracking and analysis of our clients’ production chain from starting elements to store shelves. New plug-ins are continually developed to support interfacing with customer database systems as well as any new potential scanners in the market place.

To best utilize the TPID solution, clients undertake stage scanning and verification in multiple stages starting with the raw materials, including warehouses and distribution centers, and finally the store shelves. If KMAC is provided with this level of information, the insertion of counterfeit products or elements can be easily identified anywhere along the supply chain.

KMAC not only allows our clients to identify the products that are real or counterfeit, but it also helps identify where the counterfeit products have been inserted into the supply chain, thereby helping TPID clients remove counterfeit products from their shelves and ultimately, protecting their brands.

Real-time reporting
KMAC is a proprietary computerized information database system to manage inspections, as well as collect and analyze data from scanner in the field for trend spotting and responsive action.

Data Storage
The customized information of a given tagged object is stored in KMAC, the data management system. This system is able to detect all information related to the identity of the tagged object at any time or location and with extremely high accuracy.

Security
To ensure the highest level of security, the TPID tagging system involves the process of stacking tags. This means that multiple technologies are used to generate a single tag, making it extremely difficult to copy or spoof. This system, combined with the instantaneous verification from KMAC, yields the most advanced anti-counterfeit solution in the world.
